Great Mongolia was divided into Yuan Dynasty and four Great Khanates with the struggle between Ali Buge and Kublai Khan. Shu Chi and his descendants established Qincha Khanate, Chahetai and Wokuotai established Chahetai Khanate and Wokotai Khanate respectively. Because of his meritorious service, Hulagu broke through the black clothes and food in 1258, and Kublai Khan, the monarch of the Yuan Dynasty, named him Ilhan, and he established the Ilkhanate. Although the relationship between them and the Yuan Dynasty was inseparable and seemed to be a whole, in fact, they almost went their ways, so they often fought against each other because of their respective interests.
